About
What is MoofMate?
MoofMate is a third-party VanMoof app for iOS and Android that gives riders control the official VanMoof app does not expose: speed-limit settings, Speed++, live sensor diagnostics, ride recording, custom sounds and maintenance tracking. It supports the VanMoof S2, X2, S3, X3, S5, A5, S6 and S6 Open, costs €9.99 as a one-time purchase, and runs alongside the official app on the same bike at the same time.
The official VanMoof app still handles account login, bike ownership and firmware updates. MoofMate covers everything it leaves out. Speed limits depend on the model: S2, X2 and S3 reach up to 37 km/h, X3 up to 37 km/h on firmware 1.7.6 and below, S5 and A5 up to 32 km/h, and S6 and S6 Open remain at 25 km/h. MoofMate is independent and not affiliated with VanMoof B.V.
